Interface is a worldwide leader in the design, production and sale of various types of carpets and fabrics.
Situated in the heart of Tokyo, Japan, the showroom was remade by Ai using a fresh concept that is new not only to Interface, but to other retail outlets as well. The retail cum café and bar concept is housed inside a volume glass façade to allow clients to have a space for coffee and drinks, while relaxing and browsing through the extensive library of products. The double volume space is maximised by creating a design centre on the mezzanine floor. This allows customers to interact with the design software that showcases how the selected carpet will look like on their actual projects.
